Happiness, Sorrow, Life Japanese Symbols

One of the often times used symbols in his art are the three Japanese symbols 幸 悲 生 from the words of "Happiness", "Sorrow" and "Life". Which is to symbolize how we can't have a fulfilling life without both up's and down's.

BHSP Character Face

Another "character" or actual symbol he uses, is the pink pig character, which has been named "BHSP" (Badass Happy Surfing Piglet) by Frederik. It is a childish character, which is to symbolize the non caring and go getting attitude of a kid. A symbol of which many of us should try to live by, don't listen to the herd, go your own way and make your own path.
